Years by Bartholomäus Traubeck
Cross-section of a tree played like a record on a turntable.
This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Heard.

Will never not reblog Leonard Cohen. My hero. Once I told an ex “Listening to Leonard Cohen is like talking to God, except it’s for real.”

I suddently got a Morrissey craving
and had to make a Spotify playlist with all the Morrissey I could find that I grew up with, from my first album (Bona Drag) to the latest concert (2004). I know Viva Hate was first, it’s there too, and I know Beethoven Was Deaf means a lot of doubles, but I loved it when I was like 15. Now I’m gonna listen to one of the great poets of pop, and you should too!

Well, this is something I never thought of myself
I have always despised MIKA, that happy, fluttering little twat. But my world has been shaken. His latest single, “Rain”, sounds like he’s had sex with Andy Bell and then written the song inspired by his divine gay-disco cum!
I am struck to the ground in awe. The silk falsetto, the whiplash sound effects, the “talking instead of singing” detail, and of course the double channel self-duet at the end…it’s genious. And he suddently looks kind of hot in his fucked up evening wear…long, skinny legs and tousled hair…MIKA, you are now officially on my fuckable-list.
Oh, shut up and just watch him do that leg-crossing pose against the light at 2.49.
